For The Hot-Headed Man
I am blogging everyday (or nearly everyday) on The Daily Stoic.
Real strength comes from controlling the anger. Anger is an emotional reaction and means that our emotions control us. I really worked on the anger side last year. I feel I’ve made significant progress. I’m sleeping better at night and my stress levels are down. I still slip up and have to remind myself that it’s a waste of energy. The stoic also talks about complaining. Which I do a lot of. Particularly at work. I’m working on that too.
